One thing we have to plan for is the regular servicing of our Landcruiser. Toyota don't seem to be able to provide an easy way for travellers to locate dealerships. We got sick of guessing, and created a map with most of the Australian Toyota dealers locations.
Of course, it begs the question: "Should you use dealers to service your Toyota?". On the positive side, at least they provide a reasonable guarantee on the work they do. On the down side, there are dealers like Bruce Gowans in Burnie and Devonport. They are possibly the worst mechanic shop we've ever been to. They deliberately lie about the work required in order to coerce customers into unnecessary spending.
