South And West

Previous Home Next

We headed north along the coast to Myall Lakes, then inland through Barrington Tops to the Warrambungles. We worked for a while in Gulargambone, then stopped in Wollar. After another visit to Coolah, we returned to Gulargambone.

By then it was getting warm, and it was time to head south. After a diversion west to the Macquarie Marshes, we headed through Dubbo, Bathurst and Oberon to Canberra. From there it was out to the coast, then back inland to Thredbo. Over Christmas we toured the Victorian high country, then headed west along the Murray to Wycheproof.

Our track then takes us west through the Mallee to the Murray mouth in South Australia, then via Adelaide out onto the Eyre Peninsula.
